BJS1 series mine explosion-proof and intrinsically safe static var generator (SVG for short) is a static var compensation device based on high-power converter technology. SVG is one of the key equipment in the field of FACTS technology products. It is based on a three-phase high-power voltage inverter as its core. Its output voltage is connected to the system through a connected reactance, and maintains the same frequency and phase with the system side voltage. The relationship between the output voltage amplitude and the system voltage amplitude determines the nature of the output power. When the amplitude is greater than the system side voltage amplitude, capacitive reactive power will be output, and inductive reactive power will be absorbed when the amplitude is smaller. Compared with traditional reactive power compensation equipment, SVG has a fast response speed. Its reactive current output can be constant within a wide range of voltage changes. It can still provide strong reactive power support when the voltage is low. Continuously adjust to the full range of the capacitance, and play the role of controlling the grid reactive power current, adjusting and stabilizing the system voltage, and increasing the system oscillation damping in the system.

At present, a large number of converters and speed-regulating devices such as frequency converters are used in coal mines, causing harms such as higher harmonic content of the power grid and lower power factors.
